Youth Charity CEO Takes Directorship at Two Local Charities

Xplode Magazine CEO, Saeed Atcha has been appointed director and trustee of two Bolton charities.

Saeed has joined the board of Home-Start Bolton. Home-Start is the leading national family support charity. Saeed will sit on the board of trustees to ensure Home-Start are helping Bolton families with young children, deal with challenges in the best way they can.

Saeed said: “I’m really proud to be part of Home-Start. The breadth of talent on the Board is great! Home-Start provide support for local people who need it the most and although it’s my first non-frontline position, I’m sure I’ll get stuck in with the volunteers.”

Alongside Saeed’s position as CEO at Xplode Magazine, he is a radio broadcaster predominately heard on 107.4 Tower FM’s weekday morning show. At 20 years old, Saeed is studying a Public Relations and Marketing Degree at Manchester Metropolitan University.

Beacon Bolton Counselling have appointed Saeed as a Trustee to assist them with Public Relations, governance and Digital. Beacon are a well-established local counselling service commissioned by Bolton’s CCG (Bolton NHS) to run counselling sessions for those in need.

Speaking about his first health related appointment, Saeed says he’s delighted:

“I’m really happy to have been taken on as a Beacon Trustee. I’m joining a well-established organisation and advising on something I love – digital! I’m looking forward to being a small part of the expansion of Beacon Bolton Counselling.”

Saeed Atcha is a United Kingdom Point of Light as awarded by former Prime Minister, David Cameron and holds a number of ceremonial and ambassadorial roles with the Royal Commonwealth Society, Step up to Serve’s #iwill Campaign and One Young World.
